OneView Xpress is CAD Centric’s publishing engine for generating XML viewable data designed for use in the OneView Xpress Web viewer.  Xpress, is a lightweight XML based format designed to provide extreme performance for distributing information in a web native environment.  

With the Xpress publisher and Xpress Java Viewer no additional software is required at the client viewer.  A simple addition of several Java Class files to a web site along with the XML data files is all that’s required to enable a site with viewing of CAD data.

The Xpress Publisher generates data in a lightweight XML format that can then be viewed directly in a Web browser without any additional applications being loaded on the client computer.  Viewing is done using the Xpress viewer, which is automatically downloaded through the web as a series of Java Class files.

Xpress is ideal for publishing information to the web for product catalogs, design team web sites, design review documentation, and other situations where having drawing or model information directly available in a web browser is required.  Data can be displayed on the web either as an integrated part of a web page or as a stand-alone web page when a larger display of the data is required.  Because of its lightweight format, Xpress is fast and efficient requiring minimal storage for both the JAVA Class files and the XML data.  This insures fast downloads and quick application performance at the browser.

The Xpress Publisher server software can be configured to run in batch or as a timed job to automatically author XML data triggered either on a specific event or at a given time of the day.  The program is also configurable to run in an interactive mode.  Software includes the publishing engine and monitoring software to automate the batch generation of data.

OneView Xpress - Viewer

Server side Java Plug-in for viewing CAD Centric Xpress data files.  This lightweight viewer functions as a browser plug-in allowing easy distribution of data directly to the web.  No additional application is needed to view engineering data.  The Viewer is licensed on a Site license and is provided with an unlimited number of accesses.
